Features (introduced in version 1.4.0)
Windows Vista is now supported.
Renamed the X-Control 4s to X-Control 4S Switch Mode.
Moved the snapshot device to the Presets group.
Renamed device "Panel Block" to GUI Block".
Moved the Room Combiner Device to the Processors group.
Added Accelerator hints to the right-click menu.
The page display can now be panned using spacebar+drag. You can also use middle mouse
button+drag to pan the display, as in previous versions.
New drag mode displays objects when they are dragged, rather than just their outlines.
You can switch this mode on and off using the Outline Drag option via Tools / User
Preferences.
Ctrl+click and drag of devices now requires a longer drag distance to prevent accidental
duplication during multiple selection.
While in wiring mode, you can now use the shift+arrow keys to move blocks.
Renamed the File/Properties menu item to "Project Properties".
Added a brief description of how to assign roles to the deploy dialog.
Modified the Upload and Connect dialog boxes to improve clarity.
Added pre-built logic devices, such as "OR" and "XOR". These are smaller than the ones
created by default with the Control Operator device.
Added more pre-built meters.
Added a new HFO, high frequency oscillator. This oscillator has a range from 16k to 48k.
Note: You still cannot exceed 1/2 the sampling frequency.
The high pass filter on the Automatic Mixers now defaults to 80hz. Also, you can now
easily adjust this.
A new help file has been added. This is still very incomplete and is work in progress.
You can now use the Expression Label feature to automatically generate control Aliases.
Major changes have been made to the Device Menu. Changes include more pre-built
devices, better category names, etc.
Mono Wave recorders have returned.
Kiosk enhancements have been made, including the optional hiding of the tabs and
elimination of the red selection being drawn around controls.
The USA daylight saving time changes are now supported.
Minor installer improvements.
Improved cab polling to reduce network load.
Items on the Tools menu have been moved to a submenu called "Control Nodes" to
improve the clarity of the user interface.
